The place was empty! But don't be fooled! Customer service felt like home! Service A FOOD!!! A from my wife, 2yr old son & myself! Will always go back! Pricing & portion great! Sadly, don't live around here to visit often! But I will visit when I'm back, always!

My first time trying this kind of African food. I ordered the braised/grilled fish with attieke, extra griot and kwanga to try out different things. I was pleasantly surprised. The food is flavourful and nicely seasoned. I ate the kwanga with griot, but I can imagine it going well with a saucier dish. The quality price ratio is very good. Would try their other dishes.

thiebou yapp: the meat is perfectly tender, the rice is succulent and flavourful, the onion sauce compliments the dish perfectly and the sweet plaintain with a bit of spicy sauce is perfection. I order a side of beef samosas which adds a delicious savoury crunch. This meal is one that I keep coming back to and I’m glad it’s still available for us to enjoy. Great price considering the quality and effort

Hands down one of, if not, the best restaurant in Verdun all things considered. Very mom and pop style shop however the food is next level. Suitable for most tastes. I recommend the Chicken Yassa, Braised fish, thiepp and sambousas.

My new obsession for African food. I’m so happy we decided to order on Uber eats because we had a blast. We had 3 different dishes : the yassa, the fish and the griot. Everything was well executed. The cooking was perfect and the seasoning was on point. The food was very tasty and the value for money is really good. I just wished there was more yogurt in the degue. We’ll order again for sure.

Excellent experience. I saw this place on TikTok from Deevas review and decided to try it and I’m so glad I did... it’s a cozy little place and the owner and his son are very kind and do what they do very well I took there suggestions and ordered the half chicken combo and the beef plate with rice and plantains and an amazing homemade hot sauce. I recommend this place to everyone

The place is well maintained, cosy and not too fancy, but his owner and his son make really nice and tasty food. They are so kind. I think we can get a nice taste of Africa and its delicious homemade food at that restaurant.
